The landscape design depicts an easy care garden which provides interest throughout the year with seasonal variation.

The gardens have been revitalised by removing unwanted trees and shrubs and by replacing them with low maintenance and colourful plants.

The design has been driven by the concept of the traditional, woodland gardens, commonly seen in Dunedin. Selected plants will provide colour through their flowers and leaves. Preference has been given to flowering trees where possible.

The circulation throughout the outdoor living space has been improved by readdressing the layout of pathways.
